The future of Travel Industry

Future of Travel Industry

There was a time, when travel was something next to impossible. Technology, distance and resources made it a great effort to travel; journeys took forever, were tiring and the resources necessary were very expensive. This century has brought us unbelievable changes, evolution in all forms. People are now able to do what past generations could only dream about and before that, could not even imagine doing. The travel industry especially has come very far and continues to evolve. Suddenly it was possible for almost anyone to travel pretty much anywhere, as long as they had the time and funds necessary to make it happen, the duration of the journey was cut in half and luxury was all around. As technology and the economy continued to improve, again, the travel industry was suddenly able to cater to almost anyone, luxury decreased a bit in order to accommodate this. Agents were founded, packages put together and suddenly we find ourselves with a new dilemma: what to choose from? Where to go? Well, to be honest, the travel industry has come so far, that creating packages for Mr. and Mrs. XYZ is no longer enough. If someone wants to improve in a game, that play, overnight cialis tadalafil that goal hours. As per research, order generic viagra this herbal cure is reported to be as a main cause of this health issue. Why should they come to you when there are about a million other options to choose from? Picking the right thing has become annoying and with what little time we have in our every day lives, I really doubt anyone is thrilled with the thought of spending countless hours in front of the pc searching for the possibilities and comparing the prices. Not to mention when, after having finally come to a decision and made the necessary arrangements we suddenly come across the exact same trip at about half the price due to some kind of special offer – how annoying is that?!? These are the things that always bothered me about the travel industry. I’ve never been on a vacation by a travel agent and only recently decided to give them a shot or two and quickly came to the decision that this is not for me. In fact, I even sometimes found myself kind of sad about the way things have become, my holiday felt like it was a factory of some sort, day in and day out, just like at home only a different kind of routine. The future of the travel industry lies in customisation and personalization. There are different kinds of travelers, different kinds of people with different kinds of preferences. Some of us want to just get away and relax in the sun, others want to experience, explore, discover and learn, enrich their lives. Why should I purchase a package that consists of a flight, all-inclusive accommodation and transfer and do like everyone else when I can have the same thing and even better  for the same price, but made up completely according to my personal preferences? So, I can stay in an all-inclusive resort, where the design completely clashes with what I normally like and am surrounded by people who have completely different taste than mine or I can stay in a hotel or resort hand-picked according to the style I like (say classic elegance, for example) and travel the way I like, get picked up by a stretch limo if I’m in a crazy enough mood, throw in a night or two in the nearest city or town, eat what the local people eat and in different places (!), so not the same holiday restaurant routine during my vacation, maybe learn a thing or two about the local way of living, history and culture. An article by Reuters.com complements my opinion: Is luxury travel on the move? The future of the travel industry will be to cater exclusively to the clients needs, wants and preferences; these are the fundaments of Thorya Travel Consultancy and will be the same for everyone in the industry one day.
